In 2018 i set off for the land of the rising sun for the first time, to play my first show with the Bay City Rollers. We stayed in Shinjuku while we were there and had an amazing time visiting the surrounding area. We explored Shibuya, Harajuku and Shinjuku, where we seen the Shibuya Crossing, Meiji Jingu shrine, enjoyed the best bowl of Ramen at Fu-Unji and visited Antonio Inoki wrestling bar.
We played 2x amazing shows and the audiences were absolutely incredible! I loved the meet and greets afterwards as the fans were so appreciative, generous and respectful. The Tokyo crowd really stands out as unique and one of my favourite places i have ever played, and cannot wait to go back May 2019!
Other specialities i got to enjoy was Shabu-Shabu, Okonomyaki, Katsu, Drop Kick Wrestling Bar, Tower Records, JALAIR, Godzilla and loads of Raw eggs. Also a highlight was NJPW Dominion was happening when we were over there and during our Q&A meet and greet i was asking wrestling questions!
